Women must meet certain requirements in order to qualify to become a surrogate. Some of the criteria are:
• Have delivered a child of their own and are currently parenting a child
• Be between 21-41 years of age
• Be a citizen or legal resident of the U.S.
• Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 32 or below
• Be financially secure
• Be ready to help another family grow
